How can I tip the courier?

After you've placed your order, please keep the browser window or the app open. Food Tracker will appear, and you'll have the option to give a 5%, 10% or 15% tip.

If you accidentally closed the window or the app, you can go to the order in your order history and tip the courier there.

Can I tip the courier at any time?
You can tip the courier up to 14 days after placing your order which allows you to tip based on your delivery experience.

Does the entire tip go directly to the courier?
Couriers employed by Thuisbezorgd.nl receive their tips as part of their salary at the end of each month. Restaurants that employ their own couriers are responsible for distributing the tips accordingly.

Can I still tip online if I pay with cash?
Yes! You can still tip online if you pay with cash. However, you need to select one of the available payment methods.

I can't find the tipping option in my app. What's wrong?
You most likely need to update your app. Be sure to download the latest version.

How much do I need to pay for delivery?

Accepted Answer

Delivery costs can vary between businesses. Several factors can influence delivery costs, such as:
- The distance between the restaurant or store and the customer
- The time of the day (e.g. lunch and dinner times may be busier than mid-afternoon)
- The day of the week (e.g. Sundays may be more active than Mondays)

Therefore, someone else could pay a different amount for the same place's delivery cost because they live in a different area, ordered at a particular time or day of the week, or all of the above.

How can I customise the business list?

We provide you with a list of restaurants and stores we think most suits you. But, of course, you have the option to filter the list to show restaurants and stores that better meet your needs.

You can filter the business list to:
- Only show places that offer delivery or collection
- Find places that have a minimum order amount under € 10,00
- Show places without a delivery fee or a fee below a specific amount
- Sort by category
- View places with a certain number of stars or higher
- Find places within a price range
- Sort by distance to your location
- Sort by fastest delivery time

What is the delivery area for each restaurant or store?

All restaurants and stores on Thuisbezorgd.nl determine their own delivery area. That means the business list can change from one area to another, even in the same city.

Restaurants and stores may also choose to modify their delivery area to adjust to demands during weekends or weekdays.
