Base salary, bonuses & tipping

What makes Thuisbezorgd.nl unique in the Dutch food delivery market is the stability we offer. Unlike other platforms, you are a valued employee with a guaranteed hourly base salary. This means you get paid for every hour you are on the clock, not just for the deliveries you make.

On top of your base wage, you’ll also enjoy an 8% holiday allowance, tips, and a kilometer allowance if you use your own vehicle, making it one of the best paying easy jobs to do. Plus: you get paid per week, so you’ll reap the rewards of your work quickly. In the next few paragraphs, we’ll break down the different components that would make up your salary.

Do Thuisbezorgd.nl Couriers get bonuses?

On top of the base salary, there can be bonuses available that you’ll be eligible for depending on varying circumstances. These bonuses change throughout the year, so check in with your local Courier Coordinator for the most up to date information in your city! Everyone also gets holiday pay and the value of vacation days.

Do Thuisbezorgd.nl Couriers get tips?

You can also earn tips! Some people might tip you in cash at the doors, others might use the app to show their appreciation. If you get tipped at the door, you can pocket it directly. Digital tips will be paid out in full at the end of the month.

Do you get sick days or vacation days?

If you get sick – no worries. There’s no waiting day and our employees get paid 70% of their average working hours of the last 13 weeks, even if you just miss a day. You’ll also receive a holiday allowance, consisting of 8% of the hourly wage, paid in Spring. If you want some time off, there are 20 statutory vacation days and 5 non-statutory days or accrued vacation days, all paid and exchangeable for money at any time.
